La Silla

This weekend, as I told you, we made a road trip and one of the main places that we visited was the ESO  La Silla observatory, This is a very beautiful place in a very arid terrain (but not as much as Paranal) and the tour is really good. If you have the chance to go, don't miss it!

Just wanted to tell you that this week is the bicentennial of the independence of Chile, and I'll be out of Santiago (and out of the internet realms) until Monday, so expect a late update this week.

Spring, or something like it.

A few weeks ago the weather began to get a little warmer, a very welcomed change. And the first signs were the flowers that blossomed through the whole winter (according to my wife the got replanted every other night) began to get burned by the heat. The second sign is there are some threes that started blossoming, and here are some pictures.

Arabic Dance

I know, last week I said that I don't like to work with poor light, but few hours form posting it we went to a Arabic Dance presentation. Since I always have wanted to take some photos at a Ballet presentation I took my camera for a test drive. I think I learned a few important things and hope to be ready for this December.
